Re-Gas & Service

The Re-Gas & Service process includes:
Removing old refrigerant gas and oil.
Performing a full vacuum phase.
Refilling with new refrigerant and oil.

This restores your air conditioning system to proper working condition for both heating and cooling functions.

Refrigerant ID label

You can identify the correct refrigerant by checking the “Aircon Info” sticker under the bonnet "engine bay" or by consulting your vehicle’s manual, if this is not possible, our technicians will know the type of refrigerant based on the make, model and year of construction of your car.

Beyond the ordinary

The importance of having a car climate control in order

The primary purpose of your vehicle’s climate control system is to maintain a comfortable cabin environment, no matter the outside weather conditions. Whether it’s sweltering heat or a cold winter’s day. A climate control system that isn’t working efficiently can put extra strain on your engine, leading to higher fuel consumption. In modern vehicles, the air conditioning system often relies on the engine's power or, in the case of electric and hybrid cars, the battery. Ensuring the system is working optimally helps maximize fuel efficiency and battery life, saving you money in the long run. Climate control systems are integral for defogging your windshield, especially in wet or cold conditions. Keeping your system well-maintained ensures that it functions properly to keep the glass clear, enhancing visibility and overall safety while driving.

Different refrigerant ID label

Some vehicles have a different sticker located under the engine hood, which is also easily identifiable by its black and yellow colour. You can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual under the heading "air conditioning" or "climate control". Generally, vehicles manufactured from late 2016 onward use R-134a gas refrigerant, while those built from 2017 onwards typically use R-1234yf gas refrigerant.

The difference between air conditioning and climate control

Car air conditioning (A/C). Basic system. You control everything manually: fan speed, airflow direction, and cooling level. It cools the air, but doesn’t “think” for you. If the cabin gets too cold or too warm, you have to adjust it yourself.

Car climate control (automatic A/C). More advanced system. You set a specific temperature (e.g., 22°C), and the car maintains it automatically. It adjusts fan speed, airflow, and heating/cooling as needed.
